Phantom Siita have dropped their highly anticipated new single “Zoku Zoku” via CloudNine.

With production by Ado and composition by Teniwoha, the track weaves a tale of dangerous allure and seductive power, with lyrics like “You’ll still kiss me even if I’m bloodstained, right?” exploring the provocative side of love and beauty.

Merging a haunting vocal delivery and the song’s eerie intensity, “Zoku Zoku” draws listeners into a world where desire and fear collide to cement the Japanese band’s reputation for blending sultry pop with dark, edgy narratives.

The lyrics paint a vivid picture of a “femme fatale,” drawing a comparison to a lethal siren with the power to ignite emotions. Meanwhile, the imagery of a moth to a flame follows, daring potential lovers to approach but warning that “If you want to get close, step into the fire.”

Phantom Siita presents a unique “retro horror idol” concept, blending nostalgia with a distinctly Japanese aesthetic to redefine the idol image. The group’s name combines “Phantom,” hinting at illusions and spirits, with “Siita”—inspired by the Monarch butterfly (Parantica sita) and the swallowtail moth (Epicopeia hainesii). This fusion reflects their mysterious, haunting vibe while honoring Japan’s rich visual and cultural heritage.

As Phantom Siita’s sixth digital single, “Zoku Zoku” is the latest in a string of moves which continues to see the five-member Japanese idol band garner global fame.
