The iconic queen of Japan, Namie Amuro, is gearing up to unleash another new bop.
“Hero”, the diva’s second single this year, will be used as a tie-in with Japanese station NHK’s broadcast of the 2016 Summer Olympics. In true J-pop fashion, a digital release in Japan today precedes the single’s CD and CD+DVD physical release on July 27th. The physical release comes bundled with a new b-side, the boss-bitch sounding “Show Me What You’ve Got”, as well as the instrumentals. There will also be some special gold packaging if you’re lucky enough to nab a first press edition, which you can do so here.
Hopefully, this means that #NA9 will be dropping at some point this year. I’m perched!
