Another day, another D∆WN! The hardest working lady in pop, Dawn Richard, has blessed us with even more new music.
Following the random release of her flawless Infrared EP last week, D∆WN is this time serving us another new taste of her hotly anticipated LP Redemption. “Wake Up” is a vibrant and bouncy track, continuing the unique sound D∆WN has carved out for herself with previous singles “Dance” and “Not Above That”. It’s an upbeat bop with a fresh summer vibe, characterized by big beats and bright synths. Have a quick listen below:
Incredible. Dawn’s passionate vocals floating above those synths is true slayage. “Wake Up” is yet another testament to Dawn’s artistry, and more proof that she is the most unique and driven artist in the industry. Not that any more proof for that was needed, though. I’m literally PERCHED for Redemption to drop – give me that album of the decade sis!
