The Queen of Coney Island, Lana Del Rey, has blessed our ears again with the first single from her upcoming fifth album.
“Love” sounds like a quintessential Lana track, with haunting plucks and atmospheric drum hits complimenting her bleak vocal delivery.
Lyrically though, the song sees a big change for Lana – the lyrics are dedicated to her adoring fans. “This one is for you, and I luv you“, she declared on her Instagram page.
It is the first taste of her new album, rumored to be titled Best American Record. Speaking on the record, Lana had this to say: “I made my first four albums for me, but this one is for my fans and about where I hope we are all headed.” Oh, to be young and in love with such a selfless queen!
