British pop riser Griff has announced plans to release a new project, the curiously titled vert1go vol. 1.
Taking to social media, Griff shared: “As you know I’ve been working on new music and they’ll be yours so soon. I’m dropping volume 1 on 20.10.23. This collection of songs are fragile and insular and desperately heartbroken (as usual). Can’t wait for them to be yours. Save the date.”
An Apple Music pre-save page reveals that vert1go vol. 1 will contain three new songs from the star in the making, with the announcement coming after the viral success of the single “Vertigo” – which ended up attracting the attention of none other than Taylor Swift.
vert1go vol. 1 will mark Griff’s first proper release since her 2021 mixtape One Foot In Front of the Other, a project which defined the Brit as one of the most exciting breakout stars of the current pop landscape – furthered by the excellency of follow-up singles like “One Night” and “Head on Fire” featuring Sigrid.
