Another day, another slay from Sweden’s pop scene.
Stockholm-based diva Elsa Carmona collabed with Fredrik Okazaki (who has worked with the likes of Seinabo Sey, Naomi Pilgrim and QUEEN OF POP ROBYN) for her latest single, the dark electro-gothic “Ritual”.
“Every night is like a hit and run / Ritual“, the Swedish chanteuse whispers over sinister, pulsating synths. The sliding, croaking bass which haunts the track really captivates Elsa’s lyrics of personal darkness and hardships, which she delivers with her fragile vocals.

Apart from that cute but unnecessary dreamy spoken word segment, “Ritual” is a tremendous taste of what’s to come from Miss Elsa in 2017.
