After a storming set at London’s O2 Arena, Korean girl group aespa keep the vibes high by teaming up with pop powerhouse RAYE for a remix of the group’s viral hit “Better Things”.
Breathing new life into the effervescent pop jam, RAYE could be mistaken as the group’s secret fifth member in the remix, where she lays down snappy bars in between aespa’s shimmering vocalising. Althought the original track – co-written by RAYE – dropped last month, “Better Things” continues making waves for its snappy lyrics about dusting off time-wasters, as well as aespa’s gloriously slick choreography.
American MYs will be able to stock up on physical releases of the global hit at aespa’s US store, which comes in four adorable member versions as well as a full group edition.
Meanwhile, the fierce foursome (KARINA, GISELLE, NINGNING and WINTER) are about to successfully wrap their first ever headline world tour after a thundering performance at the iconic O2 Arena in London. The London stop of SYNK : Hyper Line – a bonafide world tour which has already stopped off all over Asia, North America, LATAM as well as Europe – delightfully showcased the group’s catalogue of futuristic pop jams, as spectators witnessed the divas power through a 25-strong setlist of hits like “Girls”, “Black Mamba”, “Spicy” and “Next Level” alongside powerful solo stages and fan-favourite B-sides including “Lucid Dream”, “Thirsty” and “Salty and Sweet”.
Quite simply, aespa never miss – and with this new remix of “Better Things”, aespa continue to prove they are a global force to be reckoned with. Stay tuned for their next comeback, rumoured to drop in November.
