Rising British pop prospect Absolutely continues to pave the way for her forthcoming debut album, Cerebrum, with the intriguing new single “Symphony”.
As is becoming typical of the emerging newcomer, “Symphony” takes a myriad of sonic influences and styles to blend them into a seamless musical offering. Lyrically, the song explores spiraling into an obsessive love affair, with Absolutely laying down passionate bars over spacey synths, brass sections and low-key drums with her lush vocal tones.
“Symphony” is the latest in a string of offerings from the South Londoner and follows hot on the heels of “24 Hours” – which proved Absolutely as a creative force to be reckoned with via a wildly exciting music video, where she literally falls through the looking glass and is left alone in a desolate landscape of broken clocks and clones of her face.
Meanwhile, Absolutely’s debut album Cerebrum is slated for release on November 17th and has been touted as “an escape into her universe through a record which is set to cement her as an exciting new prospect on the scene.”
New fans in the US and Europe are in luck, as they will be able to catch Absolutely as she joins pop powerhouse RAYE for her world tour.
