Ahead of their European tour, rising Korean girl group PIXY have made a surprise comeback with a stellar digital mini album titled The Voice.
Arriving after March’s gripping CHOSEN KARMA mini album, PIXY maintain their excellency with The Voice and once again deliver a gem of a title track in “Truth or Dare”. A steamy and addictive disco number, “Truth or Dare” fuses a driving beat with whirling strings and PIXY’s signature alluring vibes. The Voice is also backed up by two B-sides: “The Letter”, a powerfully emotive acoustic rock ballad which shows off the group’s soaring vocal abilities, and the punching “P.S.” driven by guitar melodies.
Announcing the mini album days before dropping it, the move continues to prove that Pixy are unafraid to break the rules within K-pop as they continue to win over fans with their universe of cinematic music videos and metaphor-fueled lyrics. Since their debut in February 2021, PIXY have continued to carve out a path for themselves with their mysterious and otherworldly themes.
Meanwhile, the five member girl group is set to return to Europe in November for a headline tour spanning nine countries and twelves cities; fans can buy tickets here.
