Nicki & Rih Slay the Lessors With Their New Features

Island gals Rihanna and Nicki Minaj came out for blood today!

Rihanna made a guest appearance on Ciara’s baby daddy’s new album, featuring on the chilled out “Selfish”. “Let’s not be alone, let’s be selfish tonight“, the duo sing together as Rih belts out some throaty adlibs:

Nicki Minaj also made it clear that she is gearing up to release #NM4, by lending her talents to two otherwise-basic new joints from Jason Derulo and Gucci Mane.

“I gave these bitches two years, now your time’s up“, Nicki warns in her island accent over “Swalla”‘s kind of infectious stabby bassline, which also features Ty Dolla $ign.

The real highlight from these two guest spots however is the constant lashings Nicki gives during Gucci Mane’s “Make Love”. Nicki’s “Make Love” verse hears her utilizing her metaphorical skills, and pretty much nobody is safe from a mention.

Nicki opens “Make Love” with the line “Ain’t talking Housewives but I’m in the Porsche“, before declaring that she is “The Greatest, no Kendrick and no Sia“. Nicki even comes for Twitter stan @robzdelrey, retaliating to this iconic tweet with the lyric “I’m the iPhone, you the Nokia“:

She also takes “two bars off just to laugh“.

Although Nicki kind of loses it with the lackluster rhyming of Nas with “I’m a yes and these bitches is a bunch of nahs“, she iconically ends the verse by apparently kicking Queen of PayPal Lil Kim while she’s down by explaining that “to be the queen of rap, you gotta sell records, you gotta get plaques / S, plural like the S on my chest“.
