Corinne Bailey Rae Drops Stunning New Video

Still wondering if we really did go to the moon? Well, wonder no more. Soul songstress Corinne Bailey Rae has – and she’s finally back to tell us all about it with her new single, “Been to the Moon”.

It’s a slinky jam layering otherworldly keys with glittery synths and a mellow beat. The lyrics see Corinne exploring those longing feelings you get when your lover doesn’t quite do enough for you, in CBR’s trademark sincerity. The bop will fit in well amongst the likes of LION BABE, who have recently revitalized the Neosoul genre.

The striking video shows the curly-haired beauty casually frolicking around a remote desert in a rather sexual C-3PO style outfit, stopping for a moment or two to take some notes in her journal. Check out the visual below:

The single is taken from Bailey Slae’s forthcoming collection, The Heart Speaks In Whispers. The album is due out May 16th, and is her first since returning from her venture into outer space.
