Amber Mark has returned with her new Loosies EP, out today.
The EP is fronted by “Wait So Yeah,” a perfect blend of velvety harmonies, booming 808s, and crisp percussion, showcasing Mark’s signature ability to craft songs that feel both intimate and universal. “Wait So Yeah” features contributions from Two Fresh (Mac Miller, Teddy Swims), John Ryan (Sabrina Carpenter, Benny Blanco), and Steph Jones (Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter), adding extra dimension to Mark’s hypnotic vocals. The single joins previously released tracks “Sink In” and “Won’t Cry,” which highlight the EP’s balance of dance-floor energy and introspective grooves.
Mark describes Loosies as “loose, sweaty, and a little dance-floor,” a project born out of a creative burst while working on her next album. The mini-collection, largely crafted at home, serves as a thank-you to fans for their patience as she builds toward her next full-length release.
This year has been a steady unveiling of Mark’s bold new musical era. From the poise of “Space & Time” to the slinky rhythms of “Comin’ Around Again,” Mark has proven her ability to push genre boundaries while staying true to her eclectic roots.
Her debut album, Three Dimensions Deep (2022), received widespread acclaim, cementing her place as one of music’s most innovative voices. Whether through her groundbreaking EPs, pandemic-era covers, or collaborations with artists like Paul Woolford and Empress Of, Mark continues to evolve while captivating a global audience.
With Loosies, Amber Mark reminds us why she’s one of today’s most exciting artists—seamlessly blending soulful vocals, cutting-edge production, and an irresistible sense of cool.
