SheBOPS Hub #2 feat. Vallkyrie, Chloe Lilac, Fí, Yashae, RABBII plus more!

The second entry to my column, SheBOPS Hub! SheBOPS Hub is a collection of recently released bops which deserve to get their shine on, no rhinestones.

Better Off Barefoot – Love Trumps

A smooth combination of soul with some funky horns and a chilled beat.

MÁDAM – Rise Up

The chorus of this life-affirming bop is perfect for reliving the summer sunshine.

Emma-Lee – Send Me Someone to Love

Jessie Ware vocals spread over an Allie X instrumental. Absolutely brilliant.

Sky Renee – In My Life

A lovely slice of power-pop.

Rynn – Islands

A gorgeous wave of dream-pop to drift off to.

Plastik Funk – Damaged Heart (feat. Alex Prince)

This massive EDM bop is guaranteed to have your body bopping no matter where you are.

RABBII – All Men Must Die

If there were ever a SheBOPS theme tune, this would almost certainly be my number one choice.

Beckett – Butterflies (feat. Claire Ridgely)

Claire’s angelic vocals really bring this breezy synth jam to life.

Alexandrea Lushington – Cha Cha (feat. The Queendom)

A sultry, smoky number by two “real ATL women giving you that real ATL sound.”

Yashae – Boomerang

The spunky debut single from this Jamaican born songstress will certainly keep you “coming right back.”

Resin – Hoarse

Haunting synths and screams from this Prague-born singer make this a perfect fit for an intense How to Get Away with Murder scene.

ALAENA – SOS

ALAENA makes depression sound like a brightly lit dance experience with her hit-worthy bop.

Fí – Opium

Mullingar, Ireland’s drops her second indie single, with her rich vocals crooning about the anxieties of being a lost 20 something over a startling tribal beat and airy pianos. A very promising young artist!

Chantelle Defina – Dirty Thoughts

Melbourne’s Chantelle Defina absolutely oozes sass over this flirtatiously funky summer-kissed bop.

KTEE – Rollercoaster

Austria’s KTEE explores the ups and downs of being in a relationship with her huge vocals on this electro-tinged bop.

Dusky Grey – Call Me Over (Acoustic)

The North Wales duo share this acoustic version of their Spotify Platinum single.

Sara Phillips – House On Fire

Poignant, slow burning piano-driven bop from this Canadian diva.

Triarchy – Someone to Love (feat. Rosette)

A dazzlingly euphoric ‘heartbreak on the dancefloor’ number.

Biig Piig – Vice City

Late night, candlelit musings about making shit happen from this London-based, soon to be ‘biig’ artist.

Wolfy – I Can’t Lie (feat. Huxlee)

The indie rock song is “rad!” according to the artist, me and, after playing it, you too.

Chloe Lilac – Thread

“Xanax got nothing on how I feel” is quite possibly one of the most gripping opening lines I’ve ever heard. A genuinely heartbreaking taster of Chloe’s ‘blue pop’.

Nuria Afonso – Searching (feat. Figure Flows)

A bop serving “trap-soul vibes” from this London-based chanteuse.

Vallkyrie – Queen

Pounding tribal rhythms set the scene for this megabop, telling the tale of “a Queen who summoned an ancient King from the deepest, darkest depths of the Underworld and together they ruled for a 1000 years.” Fuck me up.

Pawl – Trust Fund Kids (feat. illi)

“Sometimes, you have to create your own opportunities instead” Swedish producer Pawl says about the story behind this funk-driven dance track.

Gold/Shade – Lighthouse

No shade and all gold with this sweet future house banger.

Stay perched for SheBOPS Hub #3!
