Hip-hop bae Mila J is already doing big things in 2017!

After dropping a couple lit bangers and a hot cover of Drake’s huge hit “Fake Love”, the singer unleashed the Valentine’s Day mixtape MILAULONGTIME and then announced the seventeen date “Move” US tour.

The seven track mixtape, named after Mila’s Snapchat username, has already made strong gains since its February 14th release date, racking up well over 500k streams on SoundCloud. The people are really perched for those Mila J bops, and MILAULONGTIME makes it clear why.

Mila kicks off the collection with the hustler anthem “Move”, where she tells all the haters to do just that over some reversed piano keys and a sick sample of that “Kill Bill” siren.

Going through a breakup this Valentine’s? Don’t stress, your girl Mila’s got you with the breakup bops. “New Crib” and “The Long Way” are huge jams dealing with the after effects of losing somebody, and the lengths you have to go to sometimes in order to move on. There’s also the emotional “Yesterday” where Mila J gets back to Shaggy’s iconic “It Wasn’t Me” chorus, brilliantly sung by the mixtape’s producer I. Rich. “Yesterday was hard for me“, she cries over a bassy, spacey trap beat. It’s a witty spin on an old classic, and precisely the type of behavior that makes Mila stand out from the over-saturated market.

Mila’s also got you with the freaky girl anthems “TRPSX” and “Body”, which showcase the Blasian beauty’s wilder and sexier side. “Soaking, dripping, licking all over me / Loving, stroking, kissing all over me“, Mila seductively sings over “Body”‘s wavy synths.

MILAULONGTIME is yet another extremely solid bop collection from Jhené Aiko’s big sister, which you can stream on SoundCloud below:

Mila’s fans can catch her “Move” tour on one of the dates below, and see MILAULONGTIME and her other bops really come to life:

Are you perched for more Mila this year? I know I am!
